Prior to coming to St. Ambrose University, Elisa Green worked for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in a Day Rehab program. Green and her family relocated to the Quad Cities in 2010, and she joined the Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program in the fall as a clinical supervisor. She is also a co-faculty advisor for SAU's student chapter of the National Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
Green has significant experience working with patients of all ages who had suffered strokes, traumatic brain injuries, burns, Parkinson's Disease, or multiple sclerosis, among many others. She also had the opportunity to supervise many students on their medical internship.
Green's research interest includes adult neurogenetics. Active involvement in her community has been a life-long commitment. Professionally, she is a board member of the Quad Cities Speech, Language and Hearing Association as well as an executive board member of the Iowa Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
